THE CHALLENGE

One of our struggles was that our techs didn’t have printers with them on the field. This meant that they had to return to the office after an inspection to print and fill out a report. We knew it was a waste of time for our workers, and we knew it was costing us time and money. We were using paper forms that we would use for inspections that were saved on our computers at the office, and we would have to manually create copies and use that as a template, then upload back to the computer for whoever needed it. It took a lot of unnecessary man hours to complete a simple form.

THE SOLUTION

Once we switched to Joyfill, all of our old problems went out the window. Forms were accessible from our fingertips. Our technicians no longer had to waste time driving back to the office to retrieve or complete a report, as it could be done during field inspections. Joyfill has every compliant form we needed, and if we needed a specific custom form, we could easily create one on the app using the form builder.

Automation of customer data and building devices also helped streamline the process, and it made it easier and much faster to fill out forms for our recurring inspections. Another solution that we found in regards to saving time is the ability to use smart fields on the forms where you can set a dropdown menu with predetermined selectable values, where before we would have to write everything out by hand.
